Hahahaha absolutely. My wife leaves her Oyster Perpetual in terrifying places and proximity to myriad hazards. Does my head in.

To them it’s only a watch. Most of them treat them with only sentimental value. If all watches have zero monetary value we don’t care too.

Once it’s in her possession I don’t care if she loses or scratch it. So no pain.

My wife does that same thing with her OP 31. When she wears my Daytona I narotically take it back from her wrist before bedtime lol

Sometimes you have to take the kids toys away from them so they will appreciate them more and treat them better.

That is why I will never buy my wife an expensive watch. She does not share my watch passion anyway, so all is good.

It’s not that bad for me. That’s bad.

But I constantly find her watch sitting all alone in her bathroom. Stone floors galore.

I ask politely all the time. But to no avail.

With my wife's jewelry, her junk jewelry is down to her, I retain all the high price items in safe keeping, these are returned to me once the occasion is over that they are being worn on, as for giving her a Rolex...... "you'll get a Rolex when you stop leaving all other watches and jewelry laying around the place!"

Do you know what really pains me? The thought that actually she’s treating it how it should be treated and I’m babying mine and missing the point somehow. I kind of love her more relaxed attitude to the darn things.

Haha I do know what you mean. She pays zero mind to a scratch or a swirl. Throws it on in the morning and throws it off at night. I’ve bought her watch boxes, soft cloths, etc. she could care less

That bracelet is literally bear-hugging the Rolex... I'd call the police.

I disagree, there's being relaxed and casual, and then being disrespectful to an expensive item that most people can not even dream of affording.

Oh yeah! You should see my wife’s op- the clasp is well worn to put it mildly. Not to mention the bezel! Yowza! Don’t think I’ll be letting her borrow any of mine!

Are we supposed to be embarrassed at the way our spouses handle watches and don't care or the way we might whimper inside if our watches received the same?
