1675 Part Locating Drama
Hi All,
I am trying to find a replacement hour wheel, (part number 8039, 2.44mm) for my 1675. I have tried all the usual suspects with no luck -- including all the online parts specialists. Am I looking at sending the movement to RSC to replace the part? How long does it normally take for these hard-to-find parts to come up at sellers? Thanks in advance for your wisdom!

May I ask, is the reason you don’t want to send the watch to RSC cost related?

As another option, you could send it to an independent Rolex-qualified watchmaker with a parts account.
