First Rolex Purchased! Thanks TRF!!

I'm a new member and have been a fan for more years that I can count. After some great guidance from many members here, I'm happy to have purchased my first Rolex. This is a pre-owned Datejust that came with the box, tag, etc. I'm particularly grateful for those of you who took the time to answer my rookie questions and some who even proactively sent me PM's with advice.

I was able to purchase this in-person from a reputable seller, who has nothing but positive feedback. I had wanted a Datejust because my father has one and I've loved that watch since I was a kid. This size looks perfect (I think) on my skinny wrist, so the fit is great.

The CRAZY thing I found is that the serial number contains my birthday (two digit month/two digit day). That was a shocking discovery and I didn't even know it until I zoomed in and took a pic to see the serial number.

This is my first ever nice watch and other watches I own are not worth mentioning. I know that it's a mere 116200 Datejust and in the eyes of many, it may be a starter watch, but it ticks all the boxes. The exact bracelet I wanted, the right dial color, Romans, and I made it work with my budget.

Obligatory questions. If you all can please answer, I'll be most appreciative:

1) What color knee-high socks do I wear with sandals, when I wear this watch?

2) Is it safe to wear this watch when facing East during the Vernal Equinox?

3) I use Gluten-Free, non-GMO, Free-Range antiperspirant. When should I should I schedule service?

4) Should I order steak or salmon?

As someone who into numbers, the serial having your birth month and year is so super cool! When i had the chance to buy my first, the serial number seemed like a good sign. Your datejust is am absolute beauty!

You made an excellent choice. Smooth bezel and Roman is the way to go. Mine has a black dial but same config as yours OP.

There is nothing "mere" about your first Rolex, The DateJust, or that particular model.

It's a beauty! Wear it with pride and in good health.
