I have a new Speedmaster Pro and it seems to be running fast, approx 40 sec over 16 hours or so.
In addition, the minute hand changes/ advances when the sweep seconds hand is on the 30 second mark instead of 60 second mark.
Is this correct?
What is the expected accuracy of this watch?
What is the best way to determine accuracy?
Any help will be appreciated.

If you bought it new, I'd take it back for a warranty repair as it isn't performing as it should.

If you bought it used, those issues indicate it may be time for a service.
