I have a dislike for limited editions. That said, this Speedy looks interesting.

I'd love to see it on a leather strap. Not sure why they went with that NATO.

Not to be hating on Omega but I'm disappointed in their new watches this year.

The Seamaster 300 could have been amazing... what they offered is just ok IMO.

The "Apollo 11 45th Anniversary" is puzzling to me. Its pseudo-two tone on a NATO strap with a strange low contrast etched dial. I don't get it. Just the fact that its another one of Omega's famous speedmaster "limited editions" is enough to turn me off to it.

I do like that they have began to distribute the anti-magnetic movement over the aqua terra line rather quickly...

I'm not going to deny that it looks great, but I'm a bit turned off by the fake patina (simulated tropical dial and cream colored markers).

Agree on the limited editions, but its in Omega's DNA, they can't help themselves. They just released 6(!) versions of the retro diver, must be some sort of record.

Six!?

I guess I didn't see that on their website.

So 1. SS 2. TT 3. YG 4. WG... 5. Platinum? 6. Unnubtanium?

Nice on picture. Saw it in real today at Basel, look too pâle for me. I like sober watch but here, it's too much.

I reacted to that one on day one. That is right up my ally. Understated and muted luxury with a strong hint to tradition and history married with modern technology. What is not to love?

I can totally see myself wearing one of these come summer! :-)

for me, it's kind of a bizarre mix of colors and materials. but, it does seem well put together.

It's not too bad, but I prefer the original dial.

I like it a lot but for that price it really should come with a bracelet too. I wonder if the X33 bracelet would fit?

It would be cool if omega offered a speedy pro in titanium with bracelet as a regular offering. I mean NASA put the material on the map! Maybe we'll see a Ti/meteorite dial for the 50th anniversary model. I'd be in on that.

It can't be a record. Just consider the Planet Ocean 8500 range:
black bezel with white numbers, black bezel with orange numbers, orange bezel with orange numbers, white bezel with white numbers, Blue/Blue (5 colors)

42mm, 45mm (2 sizes)

Bracelet, rubber strap, leather strap (at least 3).

That is 30 permutations! Then you have the gold ones, and whatever else I'm forgetting. Modern Omega is diversity of product personified.
