Orange PO Bezel Differences?

Is there a difference between the old orange bezel PO (2500 Caliber) and new (8500)? The new doesn't look quite as shiny, but I know they're both aluminum. Someone told me they couldn't replicate the color on ceramic for some reason.

Old Bezel:

There is a definite difference -
the new 8500Po seem to have more of a matte finish..

The Ceramic will come -

Its not that they can't do it -- as evidenced in the LE Platinum GMT ...

It's just that its not yet ready for prime time (can be mass produced the way they would need to for something like the PO )

possibly too much variability in the colour when produced in big numbers

I'm sure it is just a matter of time....

When that does come out - it will be interesting to see if the new ceramic (when available) can be put on the current model...

Looks great! I miss my 2500, but will replace it with a new one one day.
