Bracelet help
Hello all,
I recently purchased a 1970 Tudor Submariner reference 7016/0. I worked a trade with a friend of mine and have been loving it. It came on a bracelet that was sold to my friend by a collector however the bracelet was in sorry shape and is a bit of a mash up. It is a 7836 bracelet with lots of stretch, with a pateted dive extension and a 9315 clasp denoting M8. It came with 380 endlinks which are not correct, from my research I believe it needs 280s. A couple questions, can someone confirm which reference bracelet my Sub would have come with originally and if it does in fact need 280s? Also, Unfortunately, the other day I was playing with my son when the watch suddenly fell off my wrist (thankfully not far and at home) and when I picked it up I realized the end link connector that sits inside the end link, that holds the spring bar and wraps back around to secure onto the bracelet had broken. I’m now hunting for that specific piece and 280 end links. Does anyone have that piece that I could buy or point me in the right direction? Thank you all! |

You could actually have an AD order the modern tudor equivalent of a 93150 for less than a 93150.

I’d like to have the correct vintage bracelet rather than the new equivalent. I’ve read that both the 9315 and 7836 were available in 1970 but would love confirmation!

Yes 9315 and 7836 in 1970. More likely 9315. Five digit bracelets from mid-70s btw. Btw I had a 68/69 7206 small rose that had last of the 7206 rivet.

The spring bar retainer tube should be part of any "new" spring bars you purchase and is welded in.

Unfortunately It is the fold over part that connects back to the bracelet that is broken.

It should be easy to ship to BC but if you run into trouble you can also always ship to a FedEx on the US side of the boarder and pick it up there.
