Greetings TRF,

A couple of days ago I started a thread asking advice for a new camera. Well as I was shopping with my mother today I came across what I think is a pretty good model and, to celebrate my new purchase as well as to thank everybody for their advice, here are a couple of shots I took of my pieces!

I was so excited that I even took the liberty of creating a Photobucket account to upload my pictures without any problems so here they are (please don't mind those poor skills of mine, I'm still new to this and need a tripod)! Feel free to comment!

My Bulova's crown:

My Dreyfuss's dial:

My Maurice Lacroix's moonphase:

...And what seems to be a very dirty and scratched dial (I believe my camera's lens was dirty...I'm still a newbie, what can I say?

And, finally, my Seamaster's dial bottom (which I also like to call "trying to take a picture with the flash on")!

Like I said, those pictures aren't the best but they are pretty much the first serious ones I'm taking...period! Thank you for watching!

Fantastic shots!! Keep on working those shots. Flash and watches doesn't go together, very well.

I will practice indeed, thank you for your message Adam! Of course flash doesn't always go with watches but I managed to take some not too bad shots of jewels with it, I think I'll have to master it a bit more though!

a great start , i think a lot of its in the lighting ,,,, but your certainly off to a good start .
