great pictorial of mid town Manhattan and spectacular aerial views of larger portions of Manhattan looking toward the Chrysler Building, and East River......

Very very nice photos Yume!
Looks like you took a lot of the pictures at 1/20s or 1/25s. Looks like the Canon IS lens is really good. Well done!

I really have to haul my a*s to visit NYC some day...

I found that's about as long as I can stand perfectly still for, so I adjusted ISO levels accordingly, and the 5D MkII is pretty good at somewhat higher ISO levels. I was blue in the face trying to hold myself for any longer. I am really impressed with the job the camera does for night shots, it's all but impossible to shoot handheld on anything less. Thanks for the nice comments, once again!

Sometimes you don't appreciate the place you live in until you see it through somebody else's perspective, or pictures in this case. Well done again!

Almost unreal photos there Yume! I am in awe! Not only is New York the nr.1 on my list of places to visit, but those pics of yours just make my knees wobble.
Very, very nice, Sir
Quite the camera too if I do say!
Have you been taking pictures for long?

Those are amazing! The other night, the thread about great steaks got me hungry for New York, now your pictures make me miss it even more.

Awesome pictures Thanks for sharing
Where were you when you took pics of the buildings? At first I thought you were at the top of the Empire State but I see it in another shot
