All these variations? I’d hardly call adding one fairly classic bezel color combo into the lineup (whether it be SS, PM or both) to be watering down the GMT lineup.

I believe they start with a monobloc bezel of the lighter color and then add the darker. That’s why Rolex has had such a hard time balancing the blue shade and red hue on the blro, because the blue has red in it.

If they started with an identical red to the 5 digit Pepsi, their blue would look straight up purple. They’ve had to start with a darker red in order to get the blue part to look more blue than purple, a difficult balance.

I suspect the coke might be easier as you can start with the right hue of red and then adding an interminable amount of black should get you pretty close to jet black as black is such a dominant color. Much easier to balance. Just a guess though.

When they discontinue the blnr, is when they'll introduce the coke.

You don't need 3 SS GMT variations.

I am hoping for a Tudor BB58 Coke GMT. It would differentiate it from the 41mm Tudor and current Rolex GMTs.

That a Coke insert is technically easier than a Pepsi sounds like a good guess. I think it's marketing more than technical considerations. The queues will go to the moon for a SS.

I think you’re right about marketing and sales being the determining factor for leading with the Pepsi. Seems to me they sold way more Pepsi five digits than coke so probably made sense from a business standpoint to start there with the six digits.

Coke GMT in 2022?

I have no doubt that they will release it eventually. The popularity of the BLNR and BLRO make it a near certainty IMO. I don’t believe we would see it in 2022 though. That seems a bit early.

Coke GMT in 2022?

I’m hoping for this lovely combination in 2022.

Agree with this. I think it’s coming in the next few years, but it will start out in white gold, just like the Pepsi did.

I’m in on a WG red/black GMT. I think that would be awesome.

I would be interested in getting one on an oyster. It would be a lot closer to what my dad wore compared to the BLRO.

They struggled with the pink/purple ceramic and eventually got it right
Funny,blue/black was crisp from the start .
Maybe they are still trying to get red/black right ?

Yes, please bring a ceramic Coke GMT - I have been waiting a long time. Hopefully, 2022 will be the year.

That should not be a problem, like the BLNR was not, as they are mixing one primary colour with black so there is no colour compromise, I think the Coke must be on the cards for the next couple of years.

It will eventually happen, but maybe not in 2022. I should put my name on the waitlist now

The CHNR looks nice on jubilee. Less of a scratch magnet.

It would be nice to see the all black version make a comeback too.

I wonder if they will ever try green and black?
