Who else here on TRF has/likes Montblanc Pens?

I need to make a correction; I'd never really tried posting the cap. I tried yesterday and it works well. No issue that I can see.

What is up with people leaving the stickers on their pens? Do you also leave your tags on your suits when you buy them? Or stickers on your watches? Talk about gauche.

Also, I think the Starwalker series is one of the fugliest pens by Montblanc. What’s up with the clear useless ball at end? Stick with the classic Meisterstuck.

I leave the stickers on my pens because I like it. It is none of your business.

The clear "ball" on the end of the Starwalker houses a floating Montblanc snow cap. I like the Starwalker.

There are other pens I don't like, but I certainly don't come on a Forum that i am new to (after 2 whole posts) and spew my intellectual vomit all over everyone.

But then again... that is what trolls do!

Montblanc has only made two versions of the Classic Meisterstück in modern history and of course both are discontinued. They were the Dumas and the Hemingway. The modern 149s are simply knockoffs of the Sheaffer Balance fountain pens, nice pens but a pale imitation of Classic Montblancs.

Does anyone know if you can use ballpoint refills or whether there are other compatible refills with the Montblanc M rollerball? The usual rollerball refill for this model seems to be running out of ink really quickly everytime...

Matching set

Bought these both approximately 20 years ago. I've used them almost daily ever since. I can't remember if I bought the pen to match the watch, or the other way around.....

I certainly wouldn't go that far. I know that some of us find Montblanc good but generally not exceptional and most often simply another mass produced commodity.

Montblanc is generally good and I still own a few of them but they are not among my most enjoyed or favored fountain pens. It's a safe choice but certainly not an exceptional choice.

I have one. I love it. I use it just around the home for special paperwork. I'd love another, but $7-8 hundred just not in the budget this year.

My first MB and I’m over the moon with it! I believe this is the last one available in the country and was a factory ordered for a gentleman which was no longer able to buy.
