Wow see this is why I needed a reference check. I’ve been texting that number you have screenshotted about that new Batman. It was listed for 14, I offered 12. At first he said it was to cheap then said he’d accept the offer and gave me that number to text. On text he sent me more pics of the Batman. I spoke to my local ad who promised to get me a Pepsi within the next month. I toms him I’m sorry but I dont want to tie up funds for when the ad calls. He then said he’d be willing to negotiate more and committed to selling me a brand new stickered Batman for 10k. I was shocked yet the username gaoxing84 was recommended. I was going to wire him the money first thing in the morning. Thank God I just checked the forums. Just saved 10k!!

guys,

please, in the future, before you send any money to any number.

check the listing for mobile number. scammers can't change listing because the forum doesn't allow them to do after it was posted after a few hours.

if the number doesn't match, its obviously a scam.

Just installed and works well when I try to log on from a different IP. This 2FA is very new to me. Is this something you can also do with email accounts and banking with the same app? TIA, Jim

Well, here is my story, I almost got scammed by the same guy. I had not come back to the TRF site since we were dealing by SMS (same number 1-2525-251-5609) the conversation was following the exchange I had with the real gaoxing84 on the site, so all seemed legit. He sent me the pictures of the Rolex I was interested in, was very credible and patient. I even made a wire that bounced because of mismatch in name and address. He then sent me the details for a wire to is "son's" account Hasan Chowdury also at a bank in the US. By luck, I came back to the TRF site yesterday and realized that the old account of gaoxing84 was banned, read this thread and stop interactions with the scammer. If I had asked for a pic with the current date and the watch showing a specific date and time, it would have been a layer more of safety before I buy.
