Potential Fraudster Impersonating lx384

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=750002

Alerted actual lx384, Lemuel, who is in Singapore (not North Dakota) via email. Something is off, I just wrote Lem a nice review/reference earlier today. Potential fraudster also listed wrong email.

Mods - please look into this. Be safe, folks.

They always say they’re in the most obscure places so you know you can’t F2F. The guy trying to scam me said he was in Eastern Oregon lol

First up, I want to thank Wayne (illiguy) for spotting the scammer/hacker and for alerting the community. Wayne and I were in the midst of firming up a deal. So thankfully I have someone that can vouch for me. Thank you for contacting the admin on my behalf as well. Your help today really made a stressful situation more bearable.

Next, I want to thank Steve (admin) for his help in getting my account up and running again, and his firm reprimand for not getting 2FA set up.

I was asleep while this happened. And to wake up and find out that I just got hacked and my account (since 2011 when I got my first Rolex Datejust) got banned, really affected me. I actively try to help people in the "watch out" section to spot fakes, find stolen pictures and call out phishers/scammers. I pride myself in helping the TRF community that way. Now all of a sudden, my name got mentioned as a potential scammer, and it made me sick.

I want to apologize to the community for not taking account security seriously. I'm sorry.
I should have set up 2FA, especially since I'm selling items here in the forum. I paid a small fee to learn a lesson. Now I have 2FA set up. And I've changed my password to something else. My account is now back in order.

This is the first time something like that has ever happened to me. I always thought hackers would target the big and popular sellers. Why would they target someone like me who has got so little listings? I was very wrong. Everyone is a potential victim. So I want to encourage all who have not set up their 2FA to do so immediately!

I'll be re-posting all the ads soon. Please contact me if interested.

To end off, this is my contact details. I will not use any other email or contact number.
