Time for a PM for sure, if you are really jonesing for a DJ I'd sell the YM.

Rose Gold YM all day long, no contest in my opinion ...

I'd wear that any day/everyday vs any DJ....

Why do you need 3 x DJ for? I would not do that. Personally I think 2 of the same line is the maximum anyone should have otherwise there is way way too much overlap and even with that I would say you need to have different colored metals.

If I was you I would get the YM + ONE of those DJs. Then you have a nice pair and use the money from the other 2 DJs you where going to purchase towards the RG YM and just save a little more. Otherwise just bite the bullet and get a DD40 and call it a day.

Totally agree with you about a max of 2 per line. Unless someone is rolling with a 50 watch collection with nearly unlimited funds, I can't justify having more than 2 Subs, 2 GMTs etc.

You'd have a smooth bezel watch, a PM watch as well as a fluted bezel DJ, pretty nice lineup!
Agree with this audible!

In this case, the YM is a no brainer.

Great advice, I would do the exact same. And that PM YM looks amazing in person.

Interesting comments.
I'm surprised at the "dump your SS YM". All my purchases are keepers.

I guess I was waning on the fence of quality over quantity. ie 1 vs 3.

I guess I'm jonesing as I got money burning a hole in my pocket while I'm saving for the pm piece.

I guess I miss that feeling of a brand new purchase.

It is about Quality over quantity but buying 3 datejusts makes no sense.

Get the gold YM since you seem to love that watch but what most are saying is you dont need to have 3 DJs - thats just redundant and a waste of money.

Get some variation at least.

Easy...I'd take the 116655 in a heartbeat.

Unless there's some reason you'd want 3 DJ's?

IMO these 3 DJ would be too similar, thus I’d go YM here.

The RG YM doesnt sing to me. If it does to you, go for it. PM always better.

Of the four, i like the wimbledon best

Why would you ever want 3 DJ’s? A lot of collectors do the modern thing but this is so concentrated into 3 very similar watches. Open your heart to the horological world....ps is goes beyond modern Rolex’s

And my better answer is the 116655. That thing is a very cool piece. It’s got a stealth classy/sporty style, more sporty. It is leagues above in cool factor then a DJ.

Why not look at a day date, gmt master or sub in yellow gold? Much better than the rose gold yachtmaster IMO.

Not a fan of the YG Yacht......don't even really consider it a PM piece given it doesn't have a PM bracelet. A TT with a TT bracelet probably has more gold overall.

Not sure I'd buy 3 Datejusts.....but I would pass on the YM.

The Yachtmaster, I would not purchase 3 x DJ. If you purchase the YM you can always get the DJ at a later date.

Well, less than a year ago I went through a similar dilemma. I wanted a DD40 real bad, for a real long time. However, when I could finally afford it, I went the other route and got a few other watches for the same price. Using the same logic, "Why not have 3 or 4 other watches for the same price?!" Well, almost a year later, those "other" watches are taking up space in my drawer. And I am now in the process of selling 4 watches, to make up the price of a new DD40, which is the one I wanted in the first place. And, of course, taking a loss on 3 out of the 4.

So, don't buy other watches just to pacify yourself if the YM in Everose is the one you really want. As a matter of fact, I have tried on that very model a few weeks ago, thinking it might be the one. First time I had seen it in real life. Believe me, if I was in exactly your situation, I would go for the YM. I would not say this with so much conviction, if I had not tried the watch on for myself. The only reason I am not getting it, is that I have an SD43 on order, and I really want the DD40 very badly. That YM is really a gorgeous watch, and so versatile.

Good luck on your adventure!

Cheers,
Carl

I would go for the YM. None of those DJ really speak to me, plus you already have two other watches.
