Can’t be doing with bikes that don’t have an engine or motor for the Americans.

Nice. I wish I could go out on my bike. There is snow here, and more coming this weekend. I never wear my nice watches when riding - too scared of a freak accident and getting it all banged up. Have my 20 year old Tag for riding.

My wife says I only have two faults. The first is I don't listen. The second was something else she was rattling on about....

You bikers are crazy. It’s so easy to come off and leave a smear of SS on the road/trail.

Here’s my wrist from a couple of rides ago. Imagine if I was wearing a watch!

Wow, I've got a lot of material possessions but they are way down the list in comparison to what's really significant in life; just saying! Nice bike and watch, btw.

Nice to see you enjoy the Rolex in all environments. It is meant to be worn, and not stored away in a box for some special occasion.

Cheers,
Carl

There are several material assets that I like as much as or love more than my Rolex Watches:

My McIntosh Labs systems (1 have 10 Mc gears in total for 3 audio systems), my Leica M-P 240 safari with 8 lenses, my 2 Lotus cars (1998 Elise and 1968 Seven).

I would say "more" for the Lotus cars. As much for the audio systems and Leica M system.

I also have a great collection of vintage slot cars (may-be the biggest one in Europe for Cox slot cars, MIB cars, Mint on card spares and ancillaries) and between the lack of the Rolex collection and the lack of Cox, it would be difficult to decide.

So many hours spent to restore rare Cox cars, like several Chaparall 2E, I may prefer the slot car collection. More difficult to replace than the Rolex watches I have, even the gold Sub.

I prefer Italian steel on my road bikes, but would love to get something in carbon at some point!
