PM piece or 3 others?

I am putting this question out there to see a general consensus of which is more optimal to own.

I am in the market for a 116655. I love the watch since I first saw it but never thought I would be in a position to buy one. I am a few bucks shy today but it will be attainable in about 3 months time.

That being said I will have similar funds to purchase a DJ II Ghost Roman Fluted, A DJ II Lilac Arabics, and a DJ 41 Wimbeldon. I also love all 3 of these watches. I feel that although they are the same line they are all varied enough for variety.

What is more desirable 1 vs 3??

What else do you have at the moment? Or will this be your one and only?

Assuming you're keeping the Mil and YM, I'd go for the RG YM vs the three DJ's.

Go for the PM! It’ll be a great rotation of three great watches!
But...I’d probably switch out the SS YM for a jubilee DJ41

Less is more if it is what you truly like. Who wants to have rotate through a bunch of watches your so so about where you can wear the one you enjoy all the time.

My fav is the DJ41 with Arabic. Cool watch. Have not seen it before.

I'd pick up the 116655, dump your current YM and then add one of those DJ variants with fluted bezel as your Z-Blue would be the smooth bezel in your lineup.

You'd have a smooth bezel watch, a PM watch as well as a fluted bezel DJ, pretty nice lineup!

It'll be a nice change vs having more SS pieces on bracelets. Plus, it's three DJ's... would be too redundant for me.
The RG YM gives you the oysterflex too, which really changes it up.

Would buy the YM and add a DJ later on. Wear the watch a little to experience fit and overall feel, before buy two more of the same kind Should the honeymoon period fade too quickly, then you would not be stuck with 3

Three DJ's just seems like way too many in a small collection to me. I'd go PM on this one.

The argument for 1 PM be multiple SS can go on forever. 1 PM for 3 DJs however makes absolutely no sense to me. In this case I’d go for the YM and save up to add one of those DJs down the road.

I would go with your one grail piece. DJs will always be acquirable at a later time.

Get the YM. 3 DJs is overkill

You can only wear one watch at a time. And PM is much nicer than SS once you wear it.

The DJ's are all too similar for myself. I would take the 116655 every time. It is a stunning piece.

I'd go for the RG YM. I bought my wife the 116655 and she loves it. I am awfully fond of it too and might be able to borrow it from her at some point. (if I'm lucky).

This post is tugging on my heart strings.

I have the DJ II with the Arabic numerals. It does not get much love around here, but I really like it. That being said, I rarely wear the watch and I have been thinking hard about flipping it towards the 116655.

I am following this thread closely to see what you decide.

Nothing feels like a PM - minus maybe a vintage sport Rolex or the new Daytona SS

I mean if you went with the gold yacht master do you have another piece? Not sure I see that watch as a daily wearer.
