I love the op36 but the black dial version isn’t that interesting. The white dial one from a few years back was pretty great.

In my opinion, the black dial of the current OP41 and OP36 is understated but amazing. It is a sunburst dial that plays with the light. I was offered an OP36 but passed since I prefer the OP41. If I am ever offered that, I will snap it up. Having said that, I am not complaining since the last 3 watches I got from my AD between Dec. 2022 and Dec. 2023 were a black dial 116500, Root eer and white dial 116500. So no complaints about not getting offered the black dial OP…..hehehe

Finally got my wife to take her OP36 off her wrist so I could snap a pic. I'm a big fan of the dial.

You can’t go wrong with an OP, especially at the classic size of 36mm. Here’a mine:
