The 98 all the way. I have one in my line up. Absolutely love it.
The GMT,and alarm are just too cool.
Plus that price sounds pretty good compared to what I paid for mine.

I've loved the 98 since the first time I saw it posted on this forum a couple of months ago....my idea of a dress watch !
Price in England currently is £4700.00 from my nearest AD in Norwich.
Converts to $9450.00 ish, so I would say you've got a good deal.
You seem to have the Panerai bug just now ?

The PAM 98, especially at that price!

By the way John, your watch may be hanging up on the wall at my office. My CIO wants to frame some of my photos and he likes the one of the PAM 98.

Nie sleg nie Chris... gaan jy jou versameling uitbrei na Panerai toe? indien so, kan ek die 1000m Submersible aanbeveel... baie mooi... but not quite a Rolex

Dont like the Submersibles.Panerai is about classic, simplistic bold elegance.I prefer the Luminor and Radiomir linesDifferent from a Rolex and nice and distinctive in its own way.
