Great story... We all have our watches to bear... and if your collection is anything like mine, it will be in a state of fluidity for various lengths of time...

Congrat's on coming home!

I have a DSSD on a Rubber B. 7.5" wrist puts me in the 3rd hole from the tip of the strap. I really like it. Wider than the bracelet and comfy.

I heard that Rubber B is coming out with a Velcro fastening strap for the DSSD which will be available in different sizes, not sure if that is true though.

Thanks for the info, been wondering about the Rubberb for the very same watch and had heard that the buckle strap was short for a bigger wrist. I am 7.5" so it's good to know it will fit ok.

After owning 2 AP Divers, 3 black Deepseas and 2 D-Blues ... I can only say I love both brands and both models ... no need to disparage one or the other.

Congrats!

Apology if my post came across sounding that. AP Diver IS a great watch (especially the versatile black dial) but it's not meant for me.

Initial impression; super supple, great quality but at bit on thin side. The tang buckle could be beefier considering the size/width of the strap. Maybe spoiled by the thick AP rubber strap. Watch weight on wrist also less noticeable due to reduced weight and higher contact surface area. Overall, very comfortable and secure fit (on 3rd hole from smallest fit).
