Breitling Superocean Professional, A17345! $1200!

For your consideration, I present this magnificent Breitling Superocean Professional A17345. Not to be confused with the regular Superocean A17340, the Superocean Professional was produced for a limited period of time. It featured a higher waterproof rating and an entirely brushed Stainless Steel Case and black matte dial. With every surface brushed, glare and reflection was cut significantly, making it one of Breitling's most useful diving instruments.

For those of you who may not know, the Superocean is Breilting's flagship divers watch. This particular model is deemed to be a collectible because of the finish. They simply don't make Superoceans like this anymore. Note that the Professional models are getting harder and harder to find; especially in good condition. This particular watch was manufactured around 99-2000. It is COSC certified as denoted by the caseback as well as the presence of the number 3 in the model number. (i.e. A17345 vs. A17045 of earlier models)

This is a very robust, heavy, stainless steel watch, waterproof up to 1524 meters or 5000 ft. It utilizes one of Breitling's thickest one-piece stainless steel cases and has a helium escape valve (near the 10 O'Clock position) which releases when atmospheric pressure in the case changes by 3 bars in deep sea diving. The domed sapphire crystal is a substance called corundum (9 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond 10) and virtually scratch proof. Furthermore, the crystal has an anti-glare coating on both sides which cuts glare significantly and from certain angles reflects a soft purple-blue hue. The watch has a screw-in crown and a unidirectional 60 notch rotating bezel. The movement is a caliber B17 (ETA 2824-2), arguably Breitling's most durable automatic movement. This watch has been well maintained. All services have been documented and receipts have been retained and are included in the auction. This watch keeps very accurate time. It is 100% authentic.

Also included are the box and papers!

This is an absolutely fantastic watch in excellent condition. The heavy stainless steel bracelet has minor scratches from normal wear, and the bezel has a scuff at the 15 minute mark. Aside from that the case is nearly flawless, and the watch is in overall, excellent condition.

Lastly, extra links are included in the box. Please note that a few screws are missing from the extra links... they are probably easy to find at any repair center should you need to use all the links.

PRICE: $1200 will entertain serious offers.

PM me with any questions.

Regards,
Greg
