Question on watchband sizing for leather straps

So I have a Hamilton and recently changed the leather strap on it. I believe it is a Barton strap that I bought on Amazon for pretty cheap. Anyway, I have pretty small wrists (~6.25 inch) so made sure to buy band that fit smaller wrists.

The band does fit, but i seem to be in between holes (either it's too tight or too loose). Either I can spin the watch around my whole wrist or it's so tight that it's uncomfortable and creates dents in my wrist.

is there anyway to micro adjust leather straps? if not, can anyone recommend bands for smaller wrists? The was not that expensive (~$500).. so prefer not to spend like $100 on the strap.

Thanks in advance!
