Red Sub help appreciated

I've done a lot of research but would like some feedback. Does this look era correct (dial, blemishes, patina)? Is this the price point I should expect for a vintage sub in this condition? Any opinion would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The pic is not a high resolution pic which makes it difficult to authenticate the dial. However I can tell you that the dial in question resembles a mk5 red sub dial. This dial would be correct for a 3.0 mil serial case. However the 1 o'clock hour marker is disturbed and as such the watch would be a pass for me IF it was available.

This watch was on Ebay for a long time and looks like it finally sold. The dial had damage and the case was heavily polished which were the reasons for the low asking price. Most of the decent red subs I have seen recently are north of 10K.
