If it sings to you, then go for it. From what you're saying, it does.

Just get out there and put in the leg work! Call every AD you can and strike convos with the ones you can in person! The forums told me it would be 2-5 years for a Batman and low and behold took me 2 weeks and even been offered another since then... all within 2-3 months lol!

In my experience any “good” AD will not sell pre-owned watches of the brands they carry... looks horrible when you go to the Rolex store and yet all that’s available it way above MSRP (not a good look in Rolex eyes so I’ve been told)! However all the AD’s I’ve dealt with work with a gray dealer and will sell your watch to them and put the price toward your new purchase. Just recently did this with my TT Rootbeer and upgraded to the PM version... process was super simple and I never even interacted with anyone besides my SA! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The CHNR is a great watch and should not be too difficult to source.
You won't regret it! |

I saw a Batman at one AD “used” for 18k. It looked brand new with not a scratch on it. The SA said it was serviced by RSC and that’s why it looks so new. I mentioned this to another AD and they said that some ADs will get a hot watch it in, take stickers off and sell it used for crazy prices. He said sometimes they will put a small scratch on it to provide “evidence” that it is “used”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Probably not too long to get at an AD. Used prices at offer about 6-10% higher than MSRP.

Dude, call a few ADs. Trust me, NYC has them. It shouldn't be difficult to source.

It’s a great watch, but shouldn’t take too long at your AD.

The market price for the CHNR is $16,000-16,500 — which represents list price + expected tax + a few hundred of mark up. My hunch is hundreds are flooding into ADs in August.
