Ceramic bezel and crowns on steel ROO Diver...
Anyone think AP will ever offer such a combo?
I’d love to be able to swap out the steel for scratch resistance and crown wear (rubber), though I’m positive that won’t happen. I’ve seen mockups of what this looks like with black dial and it is stunning. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thay would be a nice combo indeed. I would even like the option to just change the crowns to ceramic. The rubber seems like a good idea for a Diver but I like the gloss look the ceramic adds.

you can have clearwater do this, they will also put a ceramic bezel on old rubberclads... For example if you have a 15710ST with the rubber crowns you can have them put ceramic crowns on. You just have to pay. AP is a great company to work with, they will do custom rotors for the 15202 as well, they will design it with you and you send your watch in, pay for the new rotor and they will swap it at clearwater as well.. or you can send to the main manufacture.

Interesting. Other collectors I know have always said they likely wouldn’t. Thanks for the info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do not think this is correct for the SS diver. Pretty sure they are still rubber. At least that is what AP says on their website. This change was made on the 42MM Chronos but do not believe it was done on the 15710.

If I were to bet, and I would, I would say no chance. The ability to add a ceramic bezel is very limited, and usually only to pieces that had known durability issues (like the forged carbon bezel on the GP).

No, AP wont do it as it means creating a franken. Subject to their discretion, they will only mod to something that is already in their existing line up.
