I finished: Ranch Life And The Hunting Trail by Theodore Roosevelt today. I'm half way through a book on the Spanish Civil War.

I enjoyed it very much, I thought I knew a lot about cowboys and the west but there were lots of details and anecdotes that resonated with me as a hunter and a lover of the west.

I like thrillers. Reading the Jack Carr novels now. Just finished ‘The Terminal List’. I’m on ‘True Believer’ now and ‘Savage Son’ is next. Hard to put these down.

I just finished Nabokov's "Pale Fire" (1962). One of the strangest and most enjoyable books I've ever read.

I read “Endurance”, Alfred Lansing, right before the pandemic hit so I was mentally in the state of mind for preparing for survival and got started stocking up supplies early.

A lot of compelling literature about how, after what has come to light on #obamagate and then utter mishandling of the Covid19 response—specifically governors of blue states using this as a political bargaining chip—the democratic party will soon be a thing of the past in the United States

Just finished 'Decline and Fall'. Evlyn Waugh. Beautifully written.

My wife has just read 'The Diary of a Country Parson 1758-1802' by James Woodforde'. Her review to me: A fascinating insight to the lives of ordinary people in the 18th Century. Their comings and goings, what they hunted, what they ate, their travel and incredibly hard, cold, day to day existance.
