The Datejust can be worn just as easily with a suit as it can be with jeans and a tee-shirt. The DateJust would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection. This specific 1968 DateJust Ref. 1601 retains its original Grey "Pie Pan" stick marker dial and original white gold fluted bezel. This specific example just received a complete overhaul and is running flawlessly! SPECS Stock # RLXDJ1601-76 Brand Rolex Style Datejust Model 1601 Serial 42XXXXX Size Men's Material SS Dial Grey Millimeters 36 Bracelet Rolex Jubilee 62510H W/ 555 End Links CASE & BRACELET The case has been previously polished but retains full thick lugs and is in fantastic condition additionally the original white gold fluted bezel also remains in wonderful condition. The watch will come supplied on a Rolex Jubilee 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555 end links. The bracelet shows slight wear from use but remains in good condition. DIAL & HANDS This specific 1976 DateJust Ref. 1601 has a wonderful and sought after grey "Pie Pan" stick marker dial. The dial shows some spidering in the surface lacquer and creates a wonderful and unique depth to the dial almost like broken glass. The lume dots and tritium filled hands have achieved a warm creamy matching patina. When inspected under U.V. light the lume dots and hands sho no degradation and remain fully intact. ACCESSORIES None. Watch was fully serviced and running at COSC spec backed by 1 year warranty on movement.
