Belated PAM292 - green canvas pics

Here's a couple of pics of my 292 which I picked up in early July during a trip to London.

I was in Selfridges and asked about the 292 on the off-chance that they may have one, and low and behold the manager (who is a WIS himself as well as a nice guy), extracted one from behind the counter - 5 mins later and I was on my way to fill out the duty free forms. There was also an already accounted for 339 behind the counter.

At the time I didn't realize that there was going to be a price hike in August, so that was a Bobby Bonus.

The green canvas strap was acquired in the Hong Kong boutique, chosen by the missus (I was after a brown leather one), an inspired choice...

Is that an original Panerai strap if it is could you give me the name/reference on it?
It isn't in the Dealers catalog.
Or could anyone recommend me a site with quality made straps?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Yes, it's a original Panerai strap purchased from the boutique in TST Hong Kong, unfortunately I don't have the ref number as they now have a policy of keeping onto the packaging (supposedly to prevent fakes being distributed with the original packaging)...

Wow really sweet looking combo. I would've never thought to pair the 292 with the canvas.

Here's a couple more pics I took today in daylight. Really need to thank the wife for a good choice as initially I was not keen and wanted to the brown leather strap, but between her and the shop assistant they talked me round...

My wife has just arrived back in Shanghai with B&Ps, the retail receipt describes the canvas strap as Synthetic Green Ardillon ref: MX006QZK

It seems this is the strap used on the new Mare Nostrum watch.

The green canvas strap is actually very nice and fitting for the 292, and it gives it a more "military look" I must say!

No problem, my wife saw your post and gave me that "I told you green was better than brown" look before walking off feeling chuffed with herself...
