That's fantastic!

I have not gotten word on mine arriving yet. However, I'm having mine shipped to me vs picking up in person. Not sure if that makes any difference?

Either way, you getting a call is pretty exciting and bodes well for the rest of us anxiously awaiting that we may hear sooner than expected.

Can't wait to see some wrist shots!

did you end up getting one from an AD vs Boutique? The AP Boutiques told me they would not ship out of country.

If the one he tried on was indeed gold in color my bet is that it’s a pre-production demo (like the pieces shown at SIHH). I can’t image that the official stock photos on the AP site are incorrect.

Yes rac10000 is correct, I must have either seen a prototype at AP House Munich or the champagne got to me.

It is a grey rotor, just like the other models in this range it uses the Caliber 3126 so it’s gold underneath but grey coated. I confirmed this with my AP rep. While it’s a nice cohesive color I would loved a different Rotor on this one.

I can’t wait to receive this! It’s a very special offshore and the best full ceramic color combination in my opinion. The RG plots are a special touch. Being limited makes it even better.

Update:

I did in fact have a voicemail from AP in Munich from yesterday morning letting me know my watch was in. Ergo, being the excited nerd that I am, I stayed up tonight just to call them right when they opened this morning.

I just got off of the phone with Martin at the boutique (super nice guy by the way) whom confirmed the watch is ready. I'll be transferring over the balance for the watch (in the actual morning...I need to sleep!) and they will send the AP to me here in the states.

Hopefully, this information may help anyone else excitedly awaiting their piece too!

Hi Bushido, do they ship directly to you or to the boutique in the states? do you have to pay the vat or they exclude the vat for overseas purchase?

That's awesome! Glad they are shipping it for you. Looking forward to some pics!

So I'm assuming most of the larger watch community is now going to know all about these ... AP just posted a series of pictures on their Instagram story. For those of you that don't have IG ...

They took my home address when I made my reservation and will be shipping it there.

I don't believe you need to pay Germany's VAT on new watch purchases when not in country and so that should be excluded. Once I receive the final payment invoice I'm happy to let you know for certain.

May I know how much you have paid for the watch?

Yes, the 33,000.00 € should include 19% VAT.

I just looked through my original invoice to double check exact amounts. rac1000 is correct that the 33k Euro is inclusive of the 19% VAT. The invoice lists out cost of the watch, taxes, and total.

Yeah what Im wondering is if we actually pay 33k euro for the watch, how can we process the refund if we dont travel overseas, since we will not go to the tax free counter because the watch is shipped to us.

I would assume they should remove the VAT when charging and shipping overseas (this is how its worked whenever I made purchases that were shipped to me).

My issue is the boutique I am working with indicated they wouldn’t ship it out if country!?!

yea what im confused about is, if we transfer them the full amount, how are we supposed to receive the VAT back? Im really interested in this watch, but if I have to travel to Munich just to collect this watch would be quite a hassle...

Congratulations! Can't wait to see that bad boy incoming either. Excited to see the first PoG wrist shots once someone collects theirs. Wired the remaining balance on mine today - still need to figure out when the heck I can get myself to Munich to collect ASAP.

I will do a separate incoming thread, but here are some quick initial shots of the amazing Pride of Germany! I believe I might have been the first person to receive this, or at least one of the first few. Many thanks to AP’s A++ customer service. It is the most beautiful offshore I’ve seen. Great contrast, and the rose gold keeps things interesting. Certainly a well designed LE. I don’t know how to post a video via Tapatalk so unfortunately can’t post the wristroll.

Looks great in this shot. Although the dial is a bit too grey for my taste.. but I think I can get use to it. The RG accents give the Ceramic 44 a fresher look. Great to see there's a special engraving on the rotor, add more character to this LE.

I wonder if they are prioritizing delivery to clients in Germany first since after all its a "Pride of Germany" so this is natural. I am on WL but if it comes, will be next year. Ordered mine too late.
