Bracelet Issues

Hello.

I have a Rolex Datejust Oyster Perpetual c. 1968 (belonged to my grandfather, passed away in the mid 80s), with an 18k gold bezel. It came with a riveted Jubilee band, that was in bad shape and way too small. My jeweler couldn't work with it, so I am currently using a more than adequate aftermarket brand. But as the Band was my grandfathers, and I feel that it really should be used, does anyone know where, if it all possible, to acquire more links to that band? I am sure a can find a jeweler who can attack them and fix it up, but I have had no luck finding them. My Jeweler looked at it, he told me that the rivets were such that there was no way to add or remove a link without breaking the rivets, at least with his equipments.

Try Michael Young in Hong Kong

His site is classicwatchparts.com He can repair these bracelets. You might alos try Steve Mullholand on these forums for extra links.
