Khalid use to post here but now he is mainly on Instagram as Patek collector. I don’t understand why he would act in this way he was so polite on TRF. His signature was “life

i have a love hate relationship with AP myself. Maybe he is just in the hate phase currently

He was fairly active on here as KhalidSS then changed over to Ig and basically branded his account as patekcollector. Seemed like a really nice guy but he’s posting all these off memes hating on AP and tagging the brand in them. Very odd behavior

ill check it out... however if its code 11.59 related its not really hating right?

tagging a brand for anything is weird though. especially so for a meme. write them a letter like a normal person

Tom... I was wondering the same thing. Doesn’t seem like him at all and I see some guy tagged in all the 11:59 posts of his. I hate the watch but was curious as well what is going on

Nothing against Khalid of course I’m sure there is some reasoning here. Just seems very unusual given he went out of his way to be polite on TRF and I know he has helped fellow collectors here land watches.

its fun to hate on the code... i get that. However i have said from literally day one that personally i kind of like it. If i wanted a dressier watch it would be at a minimum a consideration

TRF is a sanctuary and a shining city on a hill in the utter cesspit that is social media and that is why I come down hard on anyone who tries to Kardashian it, and sad if Khalid has succumbed to it, strange as you'd think character was character but maybe he's weak and been Dark Vadered.

Just checked his feed and he's really on a roll against the Code 11:59 line. In some of his posts, I actually got the idea he was upset with François-Henry Bennahmias personally

From what I was told by someone involved is he wanted a 15202BC and couldn’t get one so he went on this IG tirade- the person he is tagging to his posts with the Pinocchio nose emoji is someone who works for AP in the Middle East. I initially thought he may have been promised the 15202BC if he buys a code 11:59 but that wasn’t the case.

The Code 11:59 is not to everyone’s taste, I certainly do not like it - but at least let’s respect those who do like it and worked so hard to make it happen.

whatever his beef with AP is, keep it mature and classy.
