Anyone know Sassebastian ???

Anyone know Sassebastian from Watch U Seek or Rolex Forums??? He has practically nothing on RF and not much on Watch U Seek. He claims to be from Argentina and want to buy my watch. Any immediate help appreciated. How do you guys receive money for a watch that cannot be taken back if the seller is a scammer? thx.

He’s not built a deep enough track record to merit business dealings and if you’re doing a deal on trust you should be wary.

The only way to proceed if you’re willing to gamble is an incoming wire into a bank account that you will subsequently withdraw to deposit elsewhere.

Question, if the benchmark for doing business with someone is for them to have an extensive history, then how does one get into the "business" of selling watches?

Not trying to sound snarky, actually curious. I was thinking of initiating a purchase of a 16710 from someone who has only one sale. The condition of the watch is what attracted me above other listings. I don't know if I should trust the guy but the watch is so damn clean.

They don’t get my trust by the example you gave.

And the OP had already accused this same person once before...

You have to make your own decision but one sale like the guy you’ve mentioned doesn’t cut it.

Simple, as a buyer use paypal and AMX.As a seller, 77T was right ,get wire transfer. You must protect yourself! Words and promises are cheap- even w a reputable seller ,sadly “things come up” and then they justify their actions - you must protect yourself, pure and

thanks

Thanks guys, there are more details that just sound way too fishy. I emailed him and said no sale. For example, he's traveling out of country and wants me to ship it to a third party here in the states. I'm just not going down this road. Watch still available. I'm done with him. THX.

He just threw the entire bucket of red flags when he asked to ship to a third party.
