Max Bill Junghans watch? Anyone know much about it.
Max Bill Junghans watch. Buddy brought this to work. Thought it was a cool inexpensive watch with a back story. Not sure if it’s true but he explained to me that Max Bill was one of the leaders of the Bauhaus movement. I like it might buy one.
What you guys think? Anyone know much about it. |

This Teddy Baldassarre guy shows up on my feed a lot and he’s a big proponent for this style of watch. He’s always talking about Junghans, Nomos, etc. |

Max Bill was a student at the Bauhaus rather than a leader there.
In the 1950s he was one of the founders of the "Hochschule für Gestaltung" in Ulm though, which is considered internationally the most important design school after the Bauhaus. The Ulm school played a key role in the development of postwar industrial design. Anyway, these Junghans watches do nothing for me and Nomos not much more. If you like the Max Bill Junghans you might also like the Patek 3417 Amagnetic. Need to tell the wife though that you can't get the Amagnetic new from the AD anymore... Lol... |

See them a lot more often on people in Germany and Junghans is well known there at a lower pricepoint..think Hamilton in the US. Never seen one on anyone's wrist here in the US.
