So here we are, watch received yesterday but was so tired after work i didn't have the energy to unpack it so today was unveiling day. I have to say I'm absolutely chuffed with it, it is in superb condition and just been serviced so is nicely nick and scratch free. The bracelet has some stretch to it but i guess you'd expect that from a 35 year old watch - my intention is to source a 'grail' 1450 or 1479 at some point so i don't mind that and this can live it the box for now. Sorry for the quality, these were taken with my iphone:
Am having a bit of problem with the bracelet, one of the springbar ends won't seem to go in the hole. I'll keep playing, but for now it's on a Nato: And the family shot: Thanks again to everyone for their input and advice, i think the correct decision was made and i'm greatful for everyone's help in getting there. You're all invited for a thank you beer if you are ever in my area |
