If you could design ONE Omega model...
If you could design one Omega model what would it be? I personally would go with the 39mm PO, with the 8500 movement. What about you guys?

I'd like to see a GMT like the above but without the Chrono and with a cera... I mean liquid metal bezel. Put a gray teck dial on it and call it an AT or a black dial and call it a PO.

I sold my 2254.50 because the size was a bit big. I still have a 2255.80 - its hard to part with that electric blue dial and sword hands - but ultimately it will go too because of the size. 39mm-40mm is perfect for me, anything bigger just looks too bulky on my arm.

Mine would be...
A PO with liquid metal dial, 8500 movement, micro adjust bracelet, GMT hand, clear case back, with some easy strap changing mechanism.

I'd maybe re-create the Electric Blue, except change up the bezel.

A Planet Ocean with a Larger Crown worthy of a dive watch. And just AR coat the underside of the crystal.

The 2264.50.00 in 40 mm, no-date! That would combine my two favourite watches (Sub 14060 and SMP 2264.50) in a perfect blend :)

Heresy here: quartz!
Take the X-33, add thermo-compensation (super quartz) for 1 second per month accuracy.
I'd also have solar or kinetic (Spring Drive, anyone?) power. I have an X-33. One day I realised "Hmmm... the mission timer can time up to 999 days, but the battery might not last that long!" |
