My wrist is the same size as yours, and from trying them on, I concluded that both of these watches are too thick and a bit too large for my taste.

Wow what a classic. I was wondering what you were going to do. Your blue one was amazing! Congrats, it’s always fun to change things up. Sounds like this is significantly more rare than the 5270? Can’t believe how many 5270 you said were for sale compared to the 59s.
One last thing- can someone tell me what the “chin” is? Thx

Chin is the convexity located on the bottom of the tachymeter. at the 6 o’clock in this case

Maybe. I’ve worn yellow and rose gold watches (including a 5270J) with casual and formal attire. A matte alligator or calfskin strap, especially with contrast stitching, works great.



Jeans, trainers and a casual shirt. On a flight home from MX.
