Can VC historiques 222 possibly be used as daily watch?

Just general question, hypothetically if one was able to buy this beautiful crazy expensive watch (in one's own dream), can one use it as a daily watch? (Of course one won't use it during the fitness/workouts, swimming or any ocean sports, etc) In other words can it be worn with shorts or jeans, t-shirts or hoodies, sandals or sneakers and doesn't look out of place?

It is classy, but also sporty. Imo it can definitely be dressed down but it depends on the individual. There are plenty of pics on IG of celebs in casual clothes wearing it.

Thanks!, I have started looking at a sporty looking high-end integrated bracelet watches in a recent years and of all of the watches that I am drooling over, I (personally) think this looks the best.

Yeah I’d say so. The 222 very much seems wearable with similar outfits as one would wear with the Royal oak and Nautilus

If you want to, yes. However, it is too beautiful and I wouldn't want to scratch it too much from daily usage.

Easily. As long as you’re comfortable with a ‘loud’ watch - full yellow gold isn’t too subtle. I’d look at it the same as a Day Date, or any of the popular integrated bracelet models out there.

I don’t have a crystal ball but I see this as very likely happening. VC would want to capitalize on the solid gold 222’s momentum and still make a steel 222 in very limited quantities to position it as a “reward” allocation similar to how the Odysseus is

Only thing stopping me from thinking it could would be the 50m water resistance (understand you noted you wouldn't take it swimming) but i guess that doesn't stop people who daily a RO. To me WR rating also signifies a dust rating.

Thank you everyone on the thoughts and replies, I probably won't be able to get one of the 222 anytime soon, if ever... but thought/dream of having one on my wrist gave me a big smile.

I've offered the concierge a $200K bundle and couldn't get one.

One of the boutiques said they could produce one in 6 months with a sizable purchase. They are trading around $105k it seems.

$50-75K in stock pieces. You can get one in time with a purchase history. You just can't get one now even with a bundle.

You still wearing your 222? That bracelet looks so comfy and elegant.

Yes, but soft metal and not exactly "discrete." So if that is how you roll, go do you.

There is one on Chrono24 for 80k, which is just a little bit over retail. So if you really want one now, just go grey

Sure, but I'd much rather get the OG. No doubt about that in my mind. More interesting movement (don't care about display back myself), better date placement etc.

Probably not though. Every time I've inquired about a VC historiques on Chrono I get "not available" as a response. Tried several dealers for RG 5000H last week. These listings are crap.

VC told me I'd get one in a couple months so $73K after tax is a lot better.
