The New Aqua Terra 38

Heard it is now pushed back to June 2023. Can anyone confirm?

It is a little mind boggling how it could take 15 months to release such a basic watch.

I hope it is wrong but first world problems.

I am basically done with Omega on this one if so. Glad I didnt give the AD the full deposit they wanted back in July....not that I would but I am sure someone did.

I assume you mean for the new colours??

If so, it wouldn’t surprise me. I’m not done with the brand, but given it would likely be quicker to get a modern day Rolex I wouldn’t be surprised if people lost interest or were turned off.

tough because if it comes out late next year, it will literally be yesterday's news post-W+W 2023 (rendering Omega's 2023 releases irrelevant if they can't deliver product.)

i really wanted to check out the deep red version. that'd be my pick of the lot.

More of a curiosity for me, I just got my AT41 last month, hasn't left my wrist during most waking hours, it's a real beauty. I'm as big on Omega as ever.

I saw one with the green dial in Ad case but with the small second complication. But when I came next day it was already sold.

not the brand this watch. it is just pathetic. every omega days model is out. why is this one difficult? it makes 0 sense. there really isn't a valid excuse.

the brand cant even source a deployment buckle for a 20 mm strap though so i am not shocked. it'll bite them in the butt eventually.

Word has it they had problems with the manufacturing of the straps/bracelets these came with hence the delay.

The new 38mm AT besides the special colors have a redesigned bracelet where the links are more rounded and the bracelet has a bigger taper from 19mm to 16mm.

That’s what my AD also told me. June. I can’t freaking believe it.

none other than the new bracelet and the dial colors. nothing else has changed. that is the perplexing part....

I still dig the Terra-Cotta version; I hear the dial manufacturing process is quite different as opposed to the other colors. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out. I still haven't come across any in the wild.

That’s terrible. I wonder what’s going on with this release. I think Omega should put out a statement of video describing what the delay is because of. It would help customers understand why they released something that no one has seen for an entire year.

FYI - I visited the boutique on 5th ave (NYC) today and they had the AT 38mm available. Ended up getting the Speedmaster 38.

I'm pretty sure OP is referring to the new colorful 38mm AT's and not the 38mm AT's that have been out for awhile.

I tried on on today at Reeds Jewlery in the Crabtree Mall in Raleigh NC. They only had the green, which IMHO, was not a great color green. The positive is that the size and bracelet were outstanding for my 7" wrist. They said they expect the remaining colors within a few weeks.

Not having all the colors available must have been really frustrating for a lot of people waiting. I really don’t know why they are taking so long.

What's the difference besides the color?

Bracelet is different with a taper and the dial doesn’t have the teak pattern.
