Omega prices in the USA changed today

Coulda' been worse. Popular models in steel that I spot-checked (Aqua Terra, Speedmaster Pro, Constellation) went up $200 - $300, which works out to 3% - 5%, depending on the model.

Probably makes sense in light of economic conditions, and I feel like Omega watches like these are still priced right. Still, it'll be interesting to see what happens with consumer confidence and demand for things such as Omega watches over the coming year or two.

Demand for TRF threads without photos is very low, so...

On the speedy sapphire is $400. The other increases seem reasonable.

Nice watches, particularly that AT. Glad I got mine this past November, and with a nice discount. Enjoy!!

Speed Sap Sandwich has gone from 6.8k to 7.4K.

All these prices increases are crazy. Personally I ll say that 7.4K is too much for a watch with poor bracelet adjustments, 50m water resistance (wouldn’t trust it giving my 2 year old a bath) and a metal bezel insert.

It's too much for sure. I like that watch a lot and enjoyed owning it but $7K was too much. Now it's over $8k after tax. Nope.

The Ed White 321 rose from £13,200 to £14,200 - that's a 7.6% rise. Its also £2250 more than I paid for mine just over a year ago!

You realize dealers margins don't change right? It's the end user who will hit the depreciation when he wants to sell it down the road, not the dealer.

Received today from an AD sourced by a good Grey dealer I have worked with in the past.

This blue dial AT didn't increase, assume it's been discontinued?

It's incredible how Omega prices have shot up. The hesalite moonwatch (previous model) in the UK was £4000 three years ago. It is now £6400.
That's 60%. Having said that, it is still probably one of the best
chronographs available in the luxury watch sector.

Nice watch, in that pic your dial color looks remarkably close to mine, which is so-called 'gray' but with a bright blue seconds hand; mine is on a distinctly gray strap.

These colors have nice variability depending on angle and light, enjoy yours!

Omega is pricing themselves out of the market. A Speedmaster used to be bang for buck at 3-4k new a couple of years ago (after discount) and even more so the years before that at 2-3k. Inflation was nowhere to be found. It was an amazing watch to get for anyone at any age, but especially for young people it was the perfect 'real luxury' watch because it wouldn't break the bank. It wouldn't break the bank either for the 30-40-50s year olds that longed for one.

There was a gap between going for an Omega and a Rolex, not just in price but also because of how Rolex was perceived (again pre-hype and everything). Now there is no monetary gap anymore (besides no Rolex being easily available) but you also closed the gap between actual luxury brands like Jaeger-Lecoultre and so many others. We're talking spending 7-8k for a watch, it's worth looking around.

This isn't coasting along with every other brand that raises the prices and Omega followed suit. This is setting the price. Omega isn't worth it at these prices. Zenith and others exactly the same with their 7-10k average prices when they should be 3k watches, that's where they belong.

When you can’t get a Daytona for less than 20k they have a leg to stand on. Even a navitimer you’ll be spending 8k retail. Prices on everything are higher not just watches.

Use to tell people to save up at least 3-4K to buy a watch now I would probably tell them save 10k minimum.

With the recent global OMEGA price increase, how negotiable are Speedmaster Moonwatch prices at ADs?
