to clarify this once again and for all eternity:
a) I used „vietcong“ as a pars pro toto for a village in the supposedly beautiful country of Vietnam which, I hear, specialises in the production of these things.
b) No, I did not buy it in Vietkong/nam/dong/bam. I bought it remote from a dealer listed as legit around here, somewhere on the Iberian peninsula.
c) I have no further remembrance of this incident, dealer and especially watch and have fortunately kept no photos of the thing.
d) Hope he didn‘t sell it to one if you guys after I gave it back.
