Speedmaster Canopus Gold 321

Curious if anyone has gotten an allocation yet or is aware of others who have? I apologize if I missed it on the forum, but I don't recall seeing. I'm a big fan of the piece, but I know it had some negative sentiment due to the price point.

I’ve yet to see anyone post a picture of one that wasn’t a promo shot here, omegaforums, or Instagram. I’m sure Omega has sold at least a handful but none have made it to a real wrist shot.

I visited 3 Omega boutiques the past month and they all said they have a small wait list (3 to 5) people for the watch and they haven't received any watches yet.

Update.

I finally saw an IG post of a 321 Canopus that wasn't a stock or promo shot. The watch was listed as "not for sale" on the IG post so I can't confirm if that's a customer watch or another promo shit unfortunately.

Looks like one was finally delivered to Munich. First one delivered to Germany.

Yes, that one. So far, I've only seen one IG post in Munich saying one is being delivered to a customer. No other shots on IG, here, or Omegaforums of the watch on customer wrists.

I just didn’t see enough difference between the steel 321 to justify the price so politely turned down. There’s probably more about than people think

Realizing that this watch is priced high, will be difficult to obtain, and is similar to other related models but for the esoteric differences...I'm still interested.

It feels like the safest way to obtain a piece as a tribute to a previous era. The ideal method would be thru a vintage acquisition, but I am too worried about authenticity of any vintage model I look at both in terms of the overall piece and the risk that some part or two was replaced or substituted.

It still looks like very few have been released...checking back in if folks have seen / heard of them being delivered. I've been offered one by AD, but no clarity on timeframe.

Thanks!

DavidSW had one on the bracelet come and go (quickly) about a week ago. I think it was marked ~$30k.

Cool watch. Talk about stealth wealth tho. to most people it looks just like a trilogy at 10x the price.

I’ve seen a handful of posts on IG for the Canopus 321 deliveries. I’m guessing less than 5 ppl so far on IG have posted their Canopus 321

I believe that was a 3861...I did a double take on the price...someone got a very good deal (regardless of being a 3861 not the new 321)...

I love omega right but I really don't understand the pricing on this watch. I can't imagine there will be many buyers of this one.

Oh, right. The 321 is a different ballgame, I guess!

I ordered this one the day it was announced. I ordered the champagne dial on bracelet. My AD is getting the green for himself. He told me Omega told him he could expect it early 2023. There have been issues with sourcing the gold AND they have jacked the price up as well.

Doesn’t sound like you are getting the same watch being discussed here. When you say champagne dial and gold makes me think you are getting the moonshine with 3861?
