Snowflake vs Snowflake

So if you had to pick between the SBGA211 (the regular snowflake) and the SBGA259G (golden snowflake) which would you choose?

I'm currently in possession of both, and need to pick one. Both are awesome, but similar enough that I can't entertain keeping them both.

A part of me loves the plain snowflake with that blue seconds hand.

But a part of me also loves the golden accents on the 259G, plus it seems to be a bit rarer since everyone has the 211.

I can't decide between the two!

Also does anyone know if the hands on the golden snowflake are actually gold?

Personally I don’t care for the gold accents so I would say SBGA211 but if we are having a discussion of the best snowflake of all, I would vote for the SBGA011

I do like the gold accents. It truly is a personal decision. You will be wearing the watch. Which one to you like? It doesn't much matter what we like.

That's the problem! I like them both! But can't justify keeping them both. I'm leaning towards the gold though since the silver one seems to be the fan favorite...

the gold accents arent as popular if that matters. i have the 059, which was cheaper than the 011 for some reason. i prefer the 011 more, but had a hard time justifying the price spread after discount on the 059. the gold accents to look nice in the sun.

Of those two, I would go with the 259g. I prefer the SBGA011 to both of those, as the Seiko is much more discrete, than the newer Grand Seiko Design.
