Stolen Rolex Submariner Date SN G892912

Hello fellows!

Just want to report a stolen submariner oyster perpetual date SN G892912.
I was unfortunately mugged in Playa Den Bossa at Ibiza in August 23th/17, when leaving Hi club at 6:00 a.m
The Watch was taken off my wrist.
I´d made a police report and warned rolex store in IBIZA.
It seems this is happening frequently there.
I´ve already bought another piece as I needed a closure for this episode .

Be aware when travelling to this locations.

Yes this OP is the ceramic model, bought it back in 2013.

I completly agree that the imense amount of people did not get mugged..
But IBZ is a place to be watchful if you choose to go there with a rolex or any watch of interest!

This is a lesson for those of you who believe
there is no problem wearing your rolex while
on a European vacation
There are multiple gangs all over the hot tourist spots
looking for the opportunity to steal your rolex.
....if it didn't happen while you were there..(?)
... is because you were lucky - not because you were safe.!!

This is very unhelpful. More people attacked elsewhere my friend. Regardless of location, there are bad people everywhere. Be aware and be safe.

Ibiza and spain have been hot spots for rolex theft. Numerous reports. Perhaps unfair but i wont be visiting touristy places in these areas with a rolex.

Very sorry to hear this, but glad you weren't injured at least.

I'll say welcome to the forum even though this is not under the best of circumstances for you.

Glad you decided to get right back on the horse though and buy another

I have worn my Rolex all over Europe (and some pretty seedy areas at that), are you saying that I have just been lucky I wasn't mugged all those times?

Absolute nonsense.

Correct
There are as many if not more crooks and scammers in USA than Europe. Indeed there are crooks everywhere - even Israel!
I live in Spain, and if you are careful and street wise, you are OK.

When you go to an area that you are unfamiliar with, you are putting yourself and your property in jeopardy.

I know whereof I speak.

Just because most people don't get mugged in any given place doesn't mean that you are safe. You are playing a numbers game.

When you are unfamiliar with where you are going, it's best to just leave the valuables at home.

Or, you can play the numbers game.
