Another Doomsday Prophesy

According to some guy named David Meade, an unknown planet named Nibiru is going to pass by Earth on the 23rd of September (this upcoming Saturday) and pretty much signal an end to worldly life as we know it.

Curious. Who are these self-professed 'prophets' and what makes them so knowledgeable considering that none of their predestined warnings have ever come true?

While the majority of us are assuming that everyday life will go on as usual, it kind of makes certain WIS endeavors trivial in regards to the larger scheme of things.

Graveyards are filled with those predicting the end times.

I prefer Frank Sinatra's approach, live every day like it's your last and one day you'll be right.

Sounds like this 'prophecy" is right out of Zechariah Sitchin's book. I think it was called "the 12th planet". As a teenager, it was fun reading his books.

The Milgauss is shielded against planetary collisions. Your watch will be safe, as long as it's a Milgauss.

strictly speaking rapture isn't apocalypse. I read this guy's reasoning and it's all based in extrapolations of revelation.

This profound insight is thematically worthy of a great novel (thinking Honore de Balzac or Emile Zola). Absolutely brilliant.

One of your best insight/follow-ups of all time Abdullah71601. While straightforward and relatively easy to comprehend, it combines the key elements of human nature, irony and everyday worldly realities. It conveys an 'essential truth' of our very existence.

Edit: Just realized that I had misspelled 'prophecy' in the OP title. Scrolling downwards, something just didn't look right.

Oh yes they do! I won 40,000,000 Euros on the Irish lottery a few months ago. I got a call from the lottery commission and they said they didn't have enough money to pay me all in one go. They offered me 4,000,000 there and then followed by 2,000,000 a month for the next 18 months. I couldn't be bothered with that guff so I demanded a refund of my one Euro.

It has been my experience that reefer takes one to the 'window' but doesn't quite get you past the door. Think 'Break On Through to the Other Side'.

What makes the planet Nibiru kind of questionable is that for months astronomers and astro-physicists haven't noticed its movement on their telescopes or via various tracking satellites. For this rogue planet to have any real impact (or impending messages of doom), its path would have had to have been detected years ago.

David Meade = just another wacko.

Really, you find it odd that they haven't noticed movement?

It's hard to find movement of something that doesn't exist.
