Question about 1016 dial

For all of you vintage experts, did any of the 1016 dials ever sport a "frog foot" coronet similar to a 1655 Explorer II?

Thnks,
Jon

I'm not an expert, and can't vouch for original authenticity, but I have seen several:

Also, I have a copy of this Japanese publication on Expy I's and it has several pics of models with the frog coronet.

Hope this helps!
