There is so much history tied to that family and those watches, I don't understand how anyone could sell them. Shame.

It's unfortunate that I cannot attend but I would love to see Grave's collection!

I would think there would be pictures or listing somewhere on the internet. I have to imagine a good number of bidders will be bidding on these pieces remotely.

It would be interesting to find ought more on how Graves actually saved the watch industry as stated in this article.

I gues his interest and maybe the competition with Packard drove more publicity and it appears as it did drive more inovation.
