Icon20 Stolen Rolex Incase anyone has intel. Newbie- apologies in advance.

My timepiece was stolen on October 29th 2021, from Arkansas, the subject resides in Oklahoma/ Arkansas/ Missouri area. Authorities have been unable to locate him or the timepiece, but did other items were found as scraped/pawed with his ID on file, home I confirmed facilitated the move. I came across this forum to purchase a new one (been having a hard time coming to terms with replacing it since it was a "milestone" reward to myself) before pulling the trigger on eBay, etc I found this forum and so grateful that I did.

I know it's a long shot here, but though I would give it a go. Thank you all in advance!

Sorry this happened to you. Hoping you had it insured for market value which should make getting a replacement pretty painless (minus the sentimental value which is irreplaceable). Would certainly report it to Rolex so they have it on file in case it ever comes in for services and will hold it until ownership is sorted (which can be a pretty arduous process especially if the person who sent it in didn't know it was stolen).

I think he is just fishing for general guidance/info on what he should be doing (e.g., report it to Rolex, file police report, etc.) as he admits he is new to all this.

Agree with others that we need more details about the piece (e.g., model, serial number, etc). OP sounds like you have already involved the police so you can check that off the list. If you have insurance on the piece let them know and file a claim. I would also put Rolex on notice for the reason I discussed in my post above.

Curious what model it was and if you had it insured. Like I said above, if it is insured for market value (assuming its a hot piece) it will be fairly easy to replace (insurance will cut you a check and you will just have to source on grey market). If it isn't insured (or insured for only MSRP) it will be a tougher hill to climb. As you will see from the threads here, getting a Rolex at retail is incredibly difficult (if not impossible) right now.

You are correct, it's a long shot. Maybe two. Thanks for waiting 14 months for the heads up!

OP, sorry to hear about this. That blows.

You need to provide some information and names and models and descriptions and details, etc. if you want any help here.
