Producer Michael

This guy is a WIS and owns plenty of Rolex/PP/AP/other companies watches. I just watched this video where he managed to convince Jacob the jeweler to give him (and the public) 50% discount on 15 classic JACOB & CO watches.

While I’m no J&C lover, I can’t help imagining the weird place Rolex lovers are in right now... And what would happen to the Rolex market if this would happen???

What do you think?

You could tell Jacob was getting very annoyed with Michael.

Let me have an exclusive meeting with you and then ask about all of your entry level watches and then ask for 50% off.

You could tell that Jacob was thinking, why did I have to deal with this sale, the blokes on the sales floor could have done it.

Some of Producer Michael's videos are hilarious. He did buy his cameraman whatever watch he wanted and if I recall it was a Rolex sub. It might have been a gold DD, don't recall. But it was touching. Michael is apparently very wealthy.

The man is a legend, been watching since the start. He designed the inside of his own plane for a video about 6 months ago, it’s not a small aircraft but an actual massive plane. It’s just for him and he was explaining how he’s excited it can take 30-40 cases of his clothes with him haha I love it

There’s a pretty good chance that the whole reason that video was recorded was for Jacob & Co to liquidate old inventory they weren’t going to sell to begin with. 215K+ views within 24 hours on a video that talks about Jacob & Co as a premier luxury watch brand? I’d be surprised if at the end of the transaction, Michael didn’t have more money in his pocket than he started with (along with a briefcase of old, non-selling Jacob & Co watches).

Adam picked a Panerai. He wanted something bigger and liked the Deepsea as well if I remember right. Was cool, Michael let him have free choice.

It's a 50% discount on inventory that they haven't sold. It's either $0 sitting in the case or 50% off MSRP Who knows what the MSRP is ? We can give 60% off or 70% off. just adjust the MSRP. Thanks for sharing, kind of silly fun.

I very much like Producer Michael, and my whole family watch his videos.

That said, he is very very smart and his videos increasingly promote other businesses and brands. Nothing wrong with that, but ultimately some of his videos are basically very enjoyable adverts.

As far as this video is concerned - it was (in my opinion) done to help Jacob move along a lot of old stock. The surprising thing is that they would want to be seen in that light.

Either way, not be critical of Michael, on the contrary, I really think a lot of him and hsi content, but there is an agenda!

Love his channel, a real fun guy to watch. The thing I like the most about him is the fact that he takes very good care of the fine things he owns; a true connoisseur.

I enjoy his videos.

I know someone who has met him several times and he told me that he is not nearly as wealthy as he portrays himself in his videos/social media but is still very well off.

Watching this man makes me want to disassociate myself with all the clowns buying watches these days. It makes me take a serious step back and think, what am I doing and how can I distance myself as far as possible from tasteless morons like producer Michael.

Have you ever had an Astronomia on your wrist? If not, it's an incredible watch.

Every one has their own preferences and is entitled to their opinion, but calling people tasteless morons is unwarranted.

I'd love to own an Astronomia, as I appreciate it for what it really is... a piece of art strapped to your wrist.

I feel like it was staged. Easy way to get rid of his trash watches that nobody want.

They would have to pay me to wear JC&co watches. Only sponsored celebs wear these things.
He should have stuck with blinged out belt buckles for wannabe rappers.

I don't usually like Michaels videos, strangely I enjoyed this one. Didn't see a single watch I would ever want but I did see some pieces I've never seen and there was clearly lots of passion being shown about the pieces. The twin gyro movement was astounding (unwearable, but astounding).

Although I certainly don't have his taste in watches (or clothes), Michael seems like a nice enough guy.

His videos are certainly more interesting than the countless collection videos that feature only Rolex and PP from people trying desperately to fit in. How many times can you watch somebody who collects subs, Daytonas and Nautilus (or is the plural Nautili?)?
