Watchworks
Hello,
To the UK members on the forum, have any of you guys used these guys for servicing, polishing, or both? They look good, but I was curious for feedback. Thanks |

I am waiting for a slot with them for a service on my Rolex- so I will let you know :)
They are certified by Rolex and have all the Rolex tools, I believe? |

Thank you.
So what made you choose them over RSC? |

I used them to have one of the lugs on my sub laser welded when I dropped it on a tiled floor.
This was a couple of years ago now but they were very helpful indeed. |

WatchWorks are cheaper than Rolex for a service. £550 rather than £750.

I’m not sure they’re Rolex certified, they have a Rolex accredited watchmaker which isn’t the same thing. To my knowledge only Steve Hale and William Rice are Rolex Certified in the UK, but I may be wrong.

Mods, why was this thread moved from Rolex to Open discussion forum?

They have a Rolex accredited watchmaker and also they say a lapping machine previously owned by Rolex is on their premises.
Unless I’m mistaken, I’ve read that their polishing/finish is excellent and the watches don’t lose their sharpness. |

I'n not sure if RSC do laser welding but I could be wrong. I'm still very happy with the work they done. |
