I figured the Daytona was going to be a top choice but I am surprised about the SUB-C being a second favorite since there are multiple threads bashing the new design. Bit shocked the SD isn't a top choice either, I guess people are after the latest and greatest. Let's see how this goes the rest of the week. Hopefully this can give Steve (LOL-X) an idea of the watch we would all like him to raffle.

1. Pre-Ceramic Sub
2. Milgauss non GV 3. GMT IIC "next purchase" 3.5 Exp II Polar (own but not on my list of top three) My top three are very different from each other and should be in every collection.

I have the 116520 white dial , the 116660 so maybe a GMT next ? No funds a for that at the moment anyway so I may have a look at that new EXP when it becomes available .
Tempted to go vintage GMT too

I'd get black dial Daytona, a 16610, and white dial Milgauss. That covers everything I am interested in.

Daytona (black dial) / Submariner (Green ceramic Hulk) / and Milgauss (GV), although the call of a Pam 279 is strong

my choice would be a sub c lv, a milgauss gv or a white face and a daytona (different dial than the milie) just to have a chrono.
but to be honest, i would be happy with any 3 rolexes no matter what the combination is. |

I like watches with a clean dial so for me it would be:
1. Submariner 2. Explorer I 3. Yacht Master

As I have one already, a SS Sub with date, I will list the three additional watches I would like to have.
1. SS Datejust with new style jubilee bracelet. 2. GMT Master II Pepsi ( Coke would be a alternate). 3. Omega 42mm PO with Orange bezel. |

Its funny seeing the Daytona and sub-c being the top 2 pieces people want in their collections. I remember a lot of posts not favoring the the sub-c and the Daytona. Anyways I am happy to see that my collection picks are with the status quo.

So far I have the Daytona white dial and the Deepsea . I was toying with the idea about getting a GMT2c next just to have a model with a different complication to it . For financial reasons it was not on the cards at the moment . Recent events may change this sooner than expected , but now there is that new EXP with that same complication . I'll wait to see how that one grabs me when I get a chance to try it on .
I know that that will be the end of my modern Rolex collection and will in years to come turn towards the " Curmudgeon " approved vintage models .

Voted SubC (hulk), GMT IIc (TT), and the upcoming Exp II 42mm
THose are on my shopping list, and since I've already got a daytona, sub LV and Milgauss I didn't vote for those (othrwise I would have, because they are the best Rolex ever made in my opinion) |
