Someone brought a fake DSSD
Someone at work who likes watches brought from his business trip a fakeroo of a DSSD.
He showed it to me and he admitted it was a fake. I showed him all the flaws of the watch (just looking for the lack of Rolex hallmarks). I think he also wears a fake PO, he says his friend lent it to him. Upon close inspection, the s/n is missing on the usual spot on the lug so it has to be a fake. He's moving to Cali for a new job and he was mulling over getting a BM'er and getting rid of his S2000. I told him that it doesn't look right when you have a BMer but have a fake watch. I jokingly told him to do a water test on it along with my Omega SMP Chrono (that's what I was wearing that day). Anyway, first time seeing a fakeroo of a DSSD - from far away it can easily deceive someone but after holding it etc, it sucks

TRF is not the place to discuss fake watches Vernon....
The watchout section is to report such things being sold to deceive, but on the boards, this is a taboo subject! There are other sites for this...
